Exports are Vital
In this video titled, “Exports are Vital,” the U.S. Grains Council’s presence in key markets is highlighted by its members to emphasize the need to promote U.S. products overseas. “There is no way 250 million Americans can consume the abundance that the agricultural producers of the U.S. can produce,” said Don Hutchens of Council member Nebraska Corn Board. “Our competition has become more global. Without an organization such as the Council, we’d probably only need 1 out of 5 farmers in the United States,” said Dale Artho, USGC past chairman and Texas sorghum farmer.
